Stepping off Wyndham Street and into the surrounds of Misters you immediately get the feeling that ‘this is going to be good.’
Your eye is drawn to the luscious green wall that brings life to the back of the room. The exposed mud brick walls and ceiling beams pay homage to the heritage of the space and the industrial style lighting and wrought iron tables add a touch of urban grunge. But it’s when you look at the menu that your stomach will take a little skip.
The brainchild of two unsuspecting lads who were frustrated with the lack of good food options available, Misters was born out of a desire to share real, honest whole food with the masses.
Unpretentious in manner these guys serve up real food that’s downright delicious. The menu is completely gluten and dairy free at no expense of taste, and nothing is being done in halves.
The real food movement is slowly but surely gaining ground in the Auckland scene and Misters' aim to provide inner city workers with a healthy option that fits their lifestyle.
