More details

Michael Meredith has jonied the SkyCity dining precinct with a new Pacific inspired restaurant!

Drawing inspiration from Michael's upbringing in Samoa, the menu showcases traditional flavours reimagined for contemporary tastes and will highlight sustainably caught seafood and fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

The entree menu sees incredible dishes like smoked eel panikeke with spiced banana, taro bread, lamb ribs with coconut & vinegar and King Salmon with betel leaf, pickled mango and roe. Diving into the mains, more delicious Pacific dishes are set to delight your senses. We've got our eyes on the fried pork hock with sapa sui, chilli and peanuts, paua with ulu, paneer and burnt orange and the slow roasted milk fed lamb shoulder with fried misiluki, spiced coconut gravy and sesame. Four outstanding desserts feature on Metita's menu - panipopo with rum caramel & banana, passionfruit sasa lapa with coconut yoghurt, pacific koko turmeric, pineapple, tipolo & cinnamon cream and lole popo. .
