In Metro's Top 50 Restaurants and home to arguably the city centre's best comfort food, The Fed is the perfect destination for restorative fare on a cold night. One of the city's most instagrammable dining spots and a regular on the Metro Top 50 Restaurants list, Ortolana can be depended on for a tasty meal composed of the freshest ingredients from the Hip Group's farm in Kumeu and with sweet treats from the dessert dreamland that is Milse

Soul Bar & Bistro
$40 for a 2 course dinner or lunch
Viaduct Harbour

If you want to experience being served by Auckland's top waiter, head to Soul and ask for Des. The Lewisham Awards celebrate the hospitality industry's best, and in 2017 they named him their Outstanding Waiter. Soul's special modern 'LA Chic' inspired Restaurant Month menu while you're there.

No list of Auckland's most renowned restaurants would be complete without Cassia - the winner of Metro Peugeot Restaurant Of The Year 2017 and the smart dining category as well. Chef mastermind Sid Sahrawat showcases Indian heritage through contemporary cuisine that will make you view Indian food through a whole new lens.

$55 for a sharing 4 course set dinner or lunch menu including a glass of wine

Recently granted an enviable 2 hats in the Cuisine Good Food Awards, The Grill by Sean Connolly is the perfect special occasion destination, especially for avowed meat eaters. This Restaurant Month, tuck into Savannah Angus pasture-fed rib eye on the bone and you'll be in meat heaven.

$40 for a 2 course dinner or lunch

Corner Victoria St East and Kitchener St

This cute as a button inner-city artisan market and bistro is a beacon of good taste tucked in between Albert Park and the city. Their event celebrating sustainable seafood ,'The Little Things', sold out, but you can still get in on their delicious ocean-friendly fish dishes with their special Restaurant Month menu.
