This August, Scarecrow, the much-loved inner-city haven of wholesome food, is serving a special 2 course vegan lunch for only $25. We felt madly in love with their delicious Mediterranean melanzane with eggplant, lentils, wilted spinach, cashew cream and beetroot kraut. It is perfectly complemented by the beautiful spiced roasted pear dessert.

We think that Vivace's risotto with roast beetroot, baby spinach, courgette and salted buffalo curd is a must-try for the lovers of Italian fare. This dish is nothing but deeply satisfying.
