DineAid returns with their 2026 Christmas Drive to support Kiwis who might otherwise go without
The hospitality community is once again coming together to make a meaningful difference this November and December, as DineAid returns with its well-known Christmas Campaign and a simple proposition: enjoy a meal, give a little extra, and help someone who needs it.
DineAid connects those who enjoy dining out with Kiwis who might otherwise go without. Participating restaurants invite diners to contribute by adding a $3 donation to their bill or by choosing a DineAid menu dish, with all proceeds raised by participating Auckland city centre restaurants going directly to the Auckland City Mission.
Every dollar donated nationally goes to food banks supported by the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch City Missions, which help distribute food assistance through approximately 135 locations nationwide. As of today, DineAid has raised more than $1.3 million, with over 50 participating restaurants and cafés demonstrating the extraordinary collective impact of small acts of generosity.
A small act at the table can make a lasting impact for those who need it most this Christmas.
