Restaurant Month kicked off with A Taste of Tippling Club, a fine dining event that brought together Ryan Clift of Singapore's iconic Tippling Club and O'Connell Street Bistro's Mark Southon to create a 6 course dining experience that combined playfulness and the best of modern cuisine. The newly-opened Giraffe by Simon Gault hosted a wholefood degustation Wholly Brekkie that left everyone inspired, enhanced and enlightened. The Grill by Sean Connolly became the home of a spectacular truffle season celebration for an afternoon, presenting four delicious truffle-induced dishes. Shepherd Elliott of Wellington's dining staple Shepherd Restaurant took over Culprit's trolley service resulting in an unforgettable collaborative dinner. US chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo brought their legendary meat-centric, dude-friendly food for one night only to Soul Bar and Bistro.
