The Auckland Diwali Festival returns to Aotea Square and Queen Street with an incredible programme that includes captivating dance performances, live music acts, mouth- watering vegetarian food, vibrant arts and crafts, and a fireworks finale. The BNZ Auckland Diwali Festival, known as 'The Festival of Lights', draws over 60,000 attendees annually. This free family-friendly festival brought to you by BNZ and Tātaki Auckland Unlimited will celebrate traditional and contemporary Indian culture and promises to add its traditional huge dose of energy to the city centre.

Free Yoga workshops

Fireworks on Sunday night
On Sunday, 5th November, the festival will close with a spectacular fireworks display from the Aotea Centre rooftop (approximate time: 8:50pm).
