Mexico | Ceviche of fish

Nothing says summer like a trip to the beaches of Mexico, sipping on a margarita and enjoying fresh ceviche. Mexico brings this all to you in the heart of the city, and their Ceviche of Fish is a signature. Served with zesty lime, chili, cherry tomatoes, coconut salad, and papaya tiger’s milk, your tastebuds will be set aflame. Our recommended drink pairing is the Mango and Passionfruit margarita.

The Shakespeare Restaurant & Brewery | Vegetarian Salad

The Shakespeare has just released an exciting new menu for 2022 with a range of irresistible dishes that must be tried. Their Vegetarian Salad is great for the summer months when you want something light but still filling, a mix of fresh salad leaves with Israeli couscous, fried tofu, grilled halloumi, candied walnuts and balsamic glaze. Other highlights on their new menu include the BBQ chicken skewers, lamb shank with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and the spicy Angry Chicken pizza.

Cafe Hanoi | Fresh Rice Paper Rolls

When the days are long and the nights are hot and humid, it’s a smart idea to go for something light and fresh for dinner. The fresh rice paper rolls from Cafe Hanoi are exactly that, made with seasonal ingredients that are a true flavour bomb. With tofu, pineapple, an added crunch of sesame cracker, cucumber, peanuts, soy coconut, and a sesame dipping sauce, this is a winner. For a drink try the virgin mocktail, a refreshing blend of lychee, passionfruit, grapefruit, and cranberry.

Ceviche Bar by Besos Latinos | Tuna Tostada

Transport yourself to that Mexican holiday you're longing for with an authentic meal at Ceviche Bar by Besos Latinos. An order of the Tuna Tostada is a must this summer. A crunchy tostada piled with yellowfin tuna, guacamole, fried leek and chipotle mayo.

Yeah Bowl | Le Chick

A Yeah Bowl is everything you could ask for when you are looking for a summer meal. The Le Chick is packed full of goodness, from free-range chicken, cucumber, carrot, spring onion, mango, the special Yeah Sauce, and topped with crispy shallots and almonds. You’ll get your protein intake, vegetables, and there will be no sacrificing on flavour. Pair with a fresh glass of delicious orange juice and you are sorted!

Hello-Beasty-Asparagus.jpg

Hello Beasty | New Season Asparagus

A modern fusion restaurant located in the Viaduct Harbour, Hello Beasty serves dynamic and consistently delicious food. You'll need to make a couple orders of the new season asparagus for the table. Finished on the hibachi with almond cream, basil, a Beasty Korean pesto and pinenuts, this dish is a great accompaniment with larger plates like the Crispy Pork Belly served with pear, radish, pickled kohlrabi, gochugaru, and sesame sauce. The Beasty G&T is a twist on the classic, but with cucumber tonic, lemon and fresh cucumber as a final garnish.

Vivace-Risotto.jpg

Vivace | Risotto

Family-owned institution Vivace places thoughtful hospitality at the forefront of what they do, making it a tried and true favourite for many. Their risotto features summer flavours from prawn, lemon, garlic, onions, capers, chilli and rocket. For a drink pairing, there is a generous selection of wine, but we are impartial to the Heavenly cocktail, which is Tanqueray gin, pink grapefruit, vanilla, citrus, and egg white. You deserve to treat yourself this summer and what better place to do it than Vivace?

The Lodge Bar | Market Fish

Brought to you by Rodd & Gunn, The Lodge Bar brings you an unforgettable experience with an emphasis on serving the finest ingredients, from scotch fillet, Te Matuku oysters, and confit pork belly. The Market Fish is a particular standout, served with brussels sprouts, grapefruit sabayon, and pomegranate. Cooked with the utmost of care, the fish will melt in your mouth and leave you feeling incredibly satisfied. It’s not just the food that is impeccable at The Lodge Bar, the cocktail list is divine too. One of our favourites is the Vodd & Gunner made with vodka, ginger bitters and citrus.
