Hawte ice creams is a micro ice cream factory, located in the heart of the city at 5 Chancery street. At Hawte they specialise in slow churning handmade ice creams. They also offer ice cream milkshakes & soda pops. Hawte Ice Creams are the first ice cream brand in New Zealand to offer a range of Boozy ice creams, made using real liquor. All their ice creams are made fresh daily in the store, in small batches & they offer a cyclic menu wherein some of the ice cream flavours keep changing every 15 days.
All their ice creams are free from artificial colours, added fats, artificial chemicals, sweeteners, eggs, oils & preservatives. The ice creams are pet friendly as well!!
Hawte Ice Creams also accept customised flavour orders, where you have the liberty to order any flavour that you would like to have as an ice cream and they make it fresh for you. Customised flavours require one day's notice. Minimum order for customised flavours is 500g tub. Some of the customised flavours that Hawte Ice Creams have made in the past are:
- maple, bacon & banana
- 3 cheese Pizza
- charcoal & caramel (black ice cream) & many more..
