The evening’s main feature is the Filipino Boodle Fight, a communal dining tradition. Originating from the military, the food is served on long tables lined with banana leaves and eaten by hand (kamayan style). It symbolizes equality, camaraderie, and togetherness, bringing people together regardless of rank. Think a variety of grilled meats, seafood, and rice, creating a shared, celebratory dining experience.
Boodle Fight aims to serve as a nostalgic reminder of family-style meals for Filipino expats and a cultural experience for locals.
