From 19 April, Auckland will have the chance to experience a Taste of Gold at one of six progressive dining experience events, hosted by American Express, that will see food lovers move between four iconic Auckland restaurants enjoying a different course at each stop.
The event will offer culinary connoisseurs the opportunity to enjoy canapes through to dessert at a selection of American Express Local Dining Collection restaurants, walking between each restaurant in the Britomart and Commercial Bay precincts for a four-course tasting experience like no other.
A celebration of Aotearoa's finest ingredients, the evening will see diners begin the evening at the Lodge Bar & Dining at Commercial Bay with a starter sure to fire up the appetite. From there, they'll split into three groups to enjoy two more courses followed by dessert across Botswana Butchery, Amano and Cafe Hanoi.
The events mark the launch of the American Express Gold Rewards Card1, one of the only dining-focused credit cards in New Zealand and one of only two metal credit cards, available in a choice of classic gold or rose gold. The four restaurants are only a few of the impressive range of restaurants in the Local Dining Collection2, where Gold Rewards Card Members can spend one of their two $100 dining credits each year.
This event will be hosted every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from Tuesday evening from 18 April, through to 6 May.
