Ghost Donkey is a high-energy, electric Mexican-influenced tequila and mezcal bar with a food and beverage programme that’s seen it earn much acclaim in the States.
Ignacio “Nacho” Jimenez, a Mexican-born, New York bar community fixture, leads the Auckland spot’s cocktail programme. There are more than 40 styles of mezcal and tequila-laced bottled Mexican sodas as well as delicious cocktails, including the 'El Burro' with pineapple rum, a mole Negroni, frozen margaritas and so much more. The food menu focuses delicious Mexican fare, including the likes of quesadillas, chili con carne, carrot nachos, tacos, Mexican fried chicken and more.
