The multi-award-winning comedian and self-proclaimed people's princess of New Zealand, Chris Parker, is back with a brand new show Lots of Love, after completely selling out his 2022 tour ‘The Best of Chris Parker’.

First came love, then came marriage. Now, as a 32-year-old, childless inner-city living homosexual, Chris is naturally wondering what’s next. A purebred dachshund is on the cards, but there are fears he could become one of those people who treats his dog like a child and forces friends to come over to celebrate ‘doggos' 1st birthday.

Chris Parker, is most commonly known for his funny Instagram and TikTok videos which built him a huge social media audience. Also, his legendary win on the hit New Zealand TV show Celebrity Treasure Island and, most strangely, a felted hat he made during the 2020 nationwide lockdown that was then acquired is on display at The National Museum of New Zealand.

Chris was listed as NZ Herald's Top 5 Entertainment Heroes of 2020 and, in 2021, was nominated for ‘Television Personality of the Year’. In 2022, he released the comedy/ documentary special for TVNZ, Chris Parker: Back To School, about all boy schools in Christchurch, and also starred in NZ feature film Nude Tuesday. His debut novel Here for a Good Time is now out through Allen & Unwin.

Most recently, Chris was the recipient of the inaugural Topp Prize awarded by the New Zealand Comedy Trust for Aotearoa’s most generous and gifted comedian. In 2023, Chris’ new comedy series, Double Parked created and written with Alice Snedden will premiere and he will feature in Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert for Amazon Prime.
