In the Squiggla Rave room, explore rhythm and counter-rhythm as essential tools for creative visual thinking. Draw in time with pulsing dance music using an array of fluorescent mark-making tools brought to vivid life by blacklight illumination.
Squiggla Construction brings Squiggla’s fundamental elements — marks, dots, and lines — into three-dimensional space. Create evolving 3D collages using a variety of materials, attaching them to a collaborative netting installation that grows over time. In Squiggla Loop de Loop, visitors take turns selecting and placing different pieces to build a large-scale, winding floor collage, a collective Squigglawork at the heart of the Silos.
An outreach programme of the Chartwell Charitable Trust, Squiggla encourages both adults and children to explore creative flow through playful mark making and visual thinking. It’s a fun, accessible way to engage the imagination — no art experience needed.
