Sky Tower fireworks & Vector Lights on the Harbour Bridge
As the first major international city to welcome in the New Year, the iconic landmarks of Tāmaki Makaurau will put on an epic show. Vector lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge will welcome us all to 2025 with a spectacular light show, with lights building momentum from 9pm until 1am with a light show every 15mins. Queen Street Lights will also be on in full festive spirit and the bridge lights will be beautifully synced with the Sky Tower bring in the new year with a stunning fireworks display. The Sky Tower starts the night with laser show from 9pm till 11:50pm when the countdown show begins and of course the midnight firework display... So, wherever you are in Tāmaki Makaurau, look to the Sky Tower as the clock strikes 12!
Looking for a good vantage point?
Take in the entire NYE display by getting a little bit of distance! We recommend taking in the views near the water where both landmarks are visible. Think Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct, Princess Wharf and any of the City's waterfront venues.
Welcome the New Year with a party
Le Rooftop at QT
