Euro has welcomed a new head chef and local artist into the fold: Kiwi born Samoan chef Uelese (Wallace) Mua, 32, leading the kitchen and queer indigenous artist Hōhua Ropate Kurene, 22.
Menu items include dishes sitting under seasonal sections of moana (seafood), māra (garden) and whenua (land). Standouts include snapper ‘on the bone’ with XO butter and lime, fermented heirloom tomatoes with flat-bread, whipped goat’s curd and basil and grass-fed beef tartare with horseradish, warm truffle potato rosti and raw egg yolk. Complementing the food, five works from Hōhua are being exposed.
Located within Tāmaki Makaurau’s vibrant downtown district and offering stunning sea views, Princes Wharf is home to a mixture of bars and restaurants including Euro, one of Auckland’s most iconic restaurants.
With a mouthwatering menu, stunning waterfront views and a fresh, modern and relax decor - it's hard not to love Euro!
