Set in the Seafarers Building this NZ brasserie is a place unrivalled in the central city. A large open space, including a massive bar area that services the main restaurant and the outdoor space, command the room.
The view is, well, amazing. Huge glass doors that concertina to frame the restaurant are on the harbour side, leading out to a narrow but long balcony that will seat tables of two for a truly outdoors and relaxing experience.
A raw bar and open kitchen provides diners with plenty of entertainment if they tire of the view (though we think this is unlikely!).
Ostro is renowned for its locally-sourced, seasonal dishes created by Head Chef Josh Shields.
Make sure you head on down soon to experience that view for yourself!
