As a positive end to what was an uncertain year for the hospitality industry, Starbucks New Zealand is proud to announce exciting things to come in 2021.
A customized, handcrafted experience
Building on its commitment to personalisation and customisation, Starbucks New Zealand introduced Blonde Roast, as a second coffee roast choice for customers in 2020, as part of its growth strategy to innovate with new products and enter new categories.
Pathway to a Planet Positive Future
Building on Starbucks’ global, multi-decade commitment to become a resource positive company by storing more carbon than it emits, eliminating waste and replenishing more freshwater than it uses, stores across New Zealand have transitioned to strawless lids, paper straws and offers free coffee grounds for gardeners. Today, Starbucks New Zealand announced an overarching plan to make even more significant steps over the next 12 months with all customer packaging to be either recyclable or compostable.
Starbucks believes in responsible growth as a company which includes doing the right thing for both people, and the planet. With environmental awareness and sustainability at the forefront of growth, Starbucks New Zealand is better positioned than ever for continued growth and success in 2021.
