Doris, the owner of SIm’s Kitchen, grew up in Penang - a Malaysian state renowned for its street food and hawker centres. Her skills were taught by her older brother who spent more than 20 years operating a street stall selling ‘char kway teow’ traditionally with charcoal fire. Doris loves to share her hometown cuisine with her patrons.
