Celebrating seven years of innovative masterclasses, the New Zealand School of Food & Wine invites you to this year’s series of appetising events.
Join a select group of top chefs, wine experts and kitchen whizzes who’ll serve up hands-on cooking demonstrations and wine tasting and matching masterclasses.
Look out for the popular Foodography class, themed around picture-perfect desserts, Perfect Pairs for food and wine connoisseurs and Spring Forage.
Handmade Sausage Sizzle
Guided by chef Finn Gybel, learn to make authentic Spanish chorizo sausages using pork, smoked paprika, cumin and then savoured with a hand-made tomato sauce.

Mezze Platter
Chef Adam Rickett will teach you how to make a magnificent mezze platter using an assortment of classic Mediterranean dishes including hummus, dukkah, green harissa, fresh pita and skewers of marinated lamb.

Wine Tasting Showcase
When: October 4, 11am - 1pm, 1pm - 2pm then break for lunch
Come along for a morning wine tasting followed by a fusion luncheon ($45) or take the whole day option that finishes at 4pm ($75).
