The Royal New Zealand Ballet (RNZB) is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a shimmering 2023 season. 2023 heralds the RNZB’s eighth decade as the national ballet company of Aotearoa and its first full season in three years.

Lightscapes, a collection of four large-scale works depicting the powerful lifeforce of dance will come to the Aotea Centre in August. While Shakespeare's great love story Romeo and Juliet will return in May and December will see Hansel and Gretel returning to close the year after a triumphant 2019 performance.
