Cordillera Chilean Film Festival is a celebration of Chilean cinema inviting latinamericans and lovers of international films to enjoy and connect with Chilean art and culture.

Enjoy expressive cinematography, powerful documentaries and independent films. The programme includes new releases, retrospective features, a short film and a beloved animated film for the whole family.

The programme will features new releases, retrospective features and a short film that reflect the life and history in Chile. The festival also commemorates the Day of Chilean Cinema on Friday 29 November when filmmakers Carmen Bueno and Jorge Müller were detained and subsequently executed by the military dictatorship in 1974.

All films will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles except Joris Ivens' short film ... A Valparaíso (screening with The Jackal of Nahueltoro) which plays in its original French audio.
