Perch (previously known as Xuxu Dumpling Bar) is a beguiling corner bar serving boutique drinks and handcrafted dumplings. The drinks menu includes craft tap beers from award-winning local brewer Brothers Beer, cocktails that utilize East Asian ingredients including black tea, cherry, coriander and yuzu, and boutique wines from NZ and further afield.

Head down Fort Street's neon lit laneway and find the vending machine to transport you to this underground Korean basement bar and restaurant. Once inside explore the delicious flavours of Korea with their sharing style menu featuring dishes like fried chicken, crispy pork belly and kimchi fried rice while sipping on soju, soju cocktails, soju sangria and even soju slushies!

Caretaker | 40 Roukai Lane

Below the ground level of Roukai Lane hides a cocktail bar of unique charm and cool ambience. Reminiscent of speakeasies of the past, this dimly lit bar with beautifully arranged leather seating is cosy in all the right ways.

This Art Deco style cocktail bar is located on the first floor of Hotel Debrett and serves classically inspired drinks as well as boutique beers and wines. Enjoy the luxury of the hotel without having to book a room as you relax in velvet chairs next to the fireplace and are waited on by the excellent staff.
