Set off from Victoria Street
From fluorescent flamingoes to dreamy lights draped in trees, start your journey on Victoria Street to see Flamboyance, then make your way to Lorne Street for the Forest of Light in Khartoum Place.
If you plan to drive into the city, The Civic Car Park is an affordable option and not far from Victoria Street. Check out their pricing here.
Through the High Street District
Continue the circuit with these circle-centric artworks hanging above Durham Lane, High Street and Vulcan Lane.
Head across to Freyberg Square
Continue exploring the High Street District, and you'll be sure to get some gram-worthy pics! Check out Starburst in Freyberg Square and the Disco Plates in Chancery Square. After that, wander to Vulcan Lane to admire thousands of colourful strands moving and rippling in the air.
While you’re in the area, keep your eye out for the Pasifika fia fia showcase on the outside of the Ellen Melville Centre and a poem from the ‘in your word’s series’ at 41 High Street.

Then over to O’Connell Street
Stroll down O'Connell street to see the awe-inspiring Incantation Orb and over to Fort Street to admire the different stars in the Matariki cluster.

Wander down Queen Street, across the road to Te Komititanga and through to Commercial Bay
Make sure to look down, up and in as you continue your adventure. From luminous shop fronts and grounding decals to angular trees and spongy fungi, there’s plenty to discover.
On your way over look out for the illuminated 57 and 131 Queen Street as well as the fantastic storefront, Prism at 34 Queen Street. Next, walk over to Te Wānanga, and take a moment to look around at the buildings awash with light. Spot the giant video screen at the top of 139 Quay Street, the Quay Street lights, the illuminated PWC Tower and Sky Tower as well as The Lightship on Bledisloe Wharf.
If you're looking for a place to rest and recharge before the last leg of your adventure, Commercial Bay and Britomart are home to great dining options and even better Cheap & Cheerful eats.
Stroll along Quay Street to the Viaduct and Silo Park
