About the Big Egg Hunt:

This uber-eggciting egg hunt of massive proportions is hatching in Auckland over Easter. Creatives from jewellery design, leading artists such as Dick Frizzell and Karl Maughan, designers like Trelise Cooper, architects, and others will turn the eggs into works of art.

The eggs will be in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington, with the majority in Central Auckland at landmark destinations and historic places. Whether you stumble upon them or seek them out each one has an individual hashtag and number. Check out the lot of them or better yet - grab a trail map and get looking for the lot. If you are lucky and share the eggs you find on Facebook; you could win the ultimate prize.
