Hidden QR codes are dotted around the city centre in 10 locations. We're dropping clues as to where each of them are daily from May 5-14 on our Instagram stories. Spot and scan one (or them all!) to go in the draw to win via the entry form below!

Heart of the City – Go for the Unexpected, QR Code Hunt Giveaways (the “Promotion’’)

  • Information about how to participate in the Promotion and Prize Draw also forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  Entry into a Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of the full set terms and conditions.
  • The Promoter is Heart of the City Incorporated, PO Box 105 331, Auckland, New Zealand.  For further information email: info@heartofthecity.co.nz.
  • Participation in the Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents; and any participants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before uploading an entry form. By taking part in the competition, minors confirm that they have obtained the consent of their parent or guardian. Employees of the Promotor and any Sponsor, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter. The Promotor reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in a Prize Draw and/or the Promotion on reasonable grounds.
  • The Promotion runs from 10am on Friday 5 May 2023 to 11.59am on Sunday 15 May 2023. The promotion consists of one QR code in 10 different locations around the city centre. The code leads to this webform to enter to be in the draw to win a Prize which is one of 5x $350 vouchers for use at a city cente venue of the winner's choice. Venue must be a business within the Heart of the City boundaries, see here. 
  • To enter the Prize Draw, as well as completing the web entry form during the relevant May 5-14 period, the entrant must provide all required details including answering the prize draw questions, the entrant's full name, contact address. email and phone number to be eligible.
  • The selected winners of the Prize Draw must provide photo evidence from the location of the scanned QR code to verify their entry.
  • A maximum of 10 entries is allowed per person, one entry from each of the 10 QR code locations during the Promotion.
  • Each of the 5 winners will receive a $350 voucher for one city centre venue of their choosing. Where relevant, the winner is responsible for arranging and paying any costs associated with the Prize that are not explicitly stated in the description of the Prize (e.g. transport, insurance and/or other incidentals).
  • Some or all of the components of the Prize may be subject to availability and any government restrictions (e.g. travel or opening restrictions).  The Promotor will work in good faith with the winner of each Prize to determine alternatives in the event of any restrictions imposed.
  • Each Prize may have additional terms and conditions that apply to the Prize, including restrictions on dates (e.g. during school holidays) or expiry dates for vouchers (e.g. valid for 12 months only).  The winner agrees to comply with all such additional terms and conditions.
  • The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.  The Promotor accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
