The World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education (WIPCE) is returning to the shores of Aotearoa. Indigenous educators, leaders, and knowledge holders from around the world will gather in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for WIPCE 2025.
Waves form, from each corner of the world, to meet at WIPCE 2025 - a gathering where generations unite. It brings together long-time advocates of Indigenous education and invites young leaders who are driving the movement forward, ensuring our knowledge continues to rise like the tides.
WIPCE 2025 offers a unique opportunity to engage in thought-provoking kōrero, participate in wānanga, and experience whanaungatanga with Indigenous peoples from across the globe. Past and present are looked at to inform the future of Indigenous knowledge. Youth are a key focus for this gathering, their aspirations drive the movement forward and shape the future of Indigenous education.
