In this clever and subversive illustrated reading, writer and storyteller Carrie Tiffany weaves her Elizabeth Jolley Short Story winning composition Dr Darnell’s Cure, written whilst researching the early travelling snake showmen of Australia, with her own experience of being bitten by a ‘western brown’ when working as a park ranger. It’s a story of snakes... or, perhaps, of something more sinister.
