Hot on the heels of winning the NZ International Comedy Festival's coveted Billy T and Fred Awards, Angella Dravid and Rose Matafeo are bringing their shows back to the Basement for one week only.

Angella Dravid - Down the Rabbit Hole

This is a love story. Well kind of. Except it went a bit wrong. Really wrong. So wrong that Angella’s written a show about it. A story so intriguing she’s been nominated for the Billy T. So bizarre that it has to be seen and a heard to be believed.

Rose Matafeo - Sassy Best Friend

Sassy best friend (sas-ee best friend).

  1. A sidekick to the main character in a romantic comedy;
  2. Not conventionally attractive, quirky, hard to love;
  3. Sometimes not white, often gay.

All–star Kiwi comedian Rose Matafeo returns home with a show inspired by her favourite film heroes and her terrible taste in movies. Sassy best friend is about friendship, finding yourself and giving up on your dreams.

This is your final chance to catch both acts. Don't mess it up.

$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more
