An intriguing event is popping up in Albert Park this November, cryptically titled 'Mystery Fest', arriving from 2pm to 10pm on November 9th!
It’s brought to audiences by Audiology Touring who are producing the NO DAYS OFF festival in Christchurch and Mt Maunganui as well as the High Tide festival in Wellington and have previously put on the popular Bay Dreams festivals at Mt Manganui and in Nelson. The explosive Laneways Festival was first hosted in Albert Park, but has since moved to Western Springs to accommodate its growing popularity, and since then, Albert Park hasn’t hosted a festival – until now.
The festival leans into its title with a curiously blank events lineup but has teased a few artists and acts like Vibe Chemistry, S.P.Y Kenzo, Jess Rhodes, @Pace and Nicole Millar alongside British DJ, Friction, known for his drum and bass productions and record labels, Shogun Audio and Elevate Records as the headliner for the one-day festival.
They have intentionally kept some of the biggest acts a secret, and they’ll remain that way until the night, building the suspense for audience members!
With many more internationals, and one massive kiwi artist currently unannounced on the lineup, it’s going be a massive night full of surprises! Prepare to be intrigued and stay tuned for more reveals for this mysterious festival kicking off summer in the city!
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
