Mana Wahine, Mana Tipua is an exhibition and series of creative workshops hosted by multimedia artists Savannah Kerekere and Michael-Lydia Winiana from Otepoti. Through visual art they express what being a wahine Māori means to them in todays society while reflecting on their personal journeys and connections to culture, feminism and socialism. Their mahi toi also explores stories of wahine toa of the past and present.

During their hands-on multimedia workshops participants get the opportunity to experiment with texture, colour, and a range of unique mediums to create their own unique masterpiece. These workshops are a fun sensory experience designed to inspire connection and share knowledge while practicing mindfulness.
