Starting from 12:30 pm every weekend, Hotel DeBrett invites you travel almost a century back in time for an afternoon of elegance, glamour, and delightful treats set in their vibrant art deco surrounds. The 1920s-inspired high tea menu at DeBrett’s Kitchen promises to tantalize the palates of cake and cocktail enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy savoury delights such as Petit Beef turnover, Chicken slider, and lemon prawn, followed by a decadent sweet selection including Souffle cheesecake, Honey madeleine, and macarons. These are just a glimpse of the menu’s indulgences, all of which can be enjoyed with a selection of hand-picked New Zealand teas.
This exquisite tea experience is available each weekend for $65 per person, which includes a welcome glass of 'Bee's Knees' upon arrival.
Dress Code: ‘Flappers and Dappers’ are most welcome, and can be complemented by Hotel DeBretts 1920’s inspired packs from $10 per person; filled with faux pearls, elegant headbands, demure long gloves and bright feather boas.
