To celebrate Matariki 2019 Grayson Goffe, a fluent reo (Māori language) speaker, will be leading a walking tour (hikoi) that highlights Māori public art, architecture and design.
The original research for this hikoi stems from the public art publication, Te Paparahi, Toi Māori - Walks in the City, a free booklet that highlights Māori public art, architecture and design that defines our city centre.
Each hikoi will commence in front of Auckland Art Gallery on the forecourt and will be between one to one and a half hours in length.
