This Restaurant Month, Thai Street has included a three course meal for $40 that starts with golden money bags, then moves onto Homok Talay, a rich seafood curry, and finally ends with homemade ice cream and sticky rice. This menu is only available at dinner. 

The Conservatory

The Conservatory | $40 for a two course meal and glass of wine 

Take a trip to The Conservatory if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience this August with areas for lounging, dining and having a drink. Enjoy a two course meal that begins with bread and dips to share, with main course options of NZ eye fillet steak; market fish with pea, edamame and creamed leek or a tofu satay dish with Asian slaw and wasabi mayo. The included drink match is a crisp tipple of Mahi Sauvignon Blanc. 


 Ortolana | $40 for a two course European lunch

Ortolana is an intimate and relaxed bistro-style dining establishment tucked away in Britomart, serving seasonal Italian fare. For lunch, Ortolana has created a delicious two-course meal for diners. Choose from either slow cooked lamb or blue cheese gnudi for your main, before deciding on the light olive oil cake or the tasty vanilla and lemon panna cotta for dessert. The knowledgeable staff are super friendly and on hand to recommend appropriate wine-pairings too. 


NEO | $40 for three shared plates for lunch or dinner

A classic among heart of the city locals and workers alike, NEO is the perfect spot for after work drinks, a glass of wine while doing some last minute work, or a gathering of close friends to enjoy delicious dishes for lunch or dinner. For Restaurant Month, NEO has created a sharing menu with three plates for $40 per person. The dishes include snapper-goujons, beef cheek daube, and piccalilli with roasted hazelnuts and radish. Miss Clawdy

Miss Clawdy | $40 for a two course meal

Miss Clawdy specialises in Southern American style food and dining, and is a great place to head to if you are craving rich flavours and winter warming comfort food. For $40 this Restaurant Month enjoy a choice of either Jamaician Jerk Chicken, Southern Poutine, or Jambalaya followed by a New York Baked Cheesecake or a fried cinnamon donut. 

Le Chef

Le Chef | $40 for a three course meal

If you are on the hunt for fresh and seasonal French food, then look no further this Restaurant Month! Le Chef, tucked away on upper Vulcan Lane is incredibly cosy and will make you feel at home. Their $40 offer this August starts with either traditional escargot, lobster thermidor, or salad de chevre. For the main, options are a succulent beef flank, ratatouille, or poisson du jour. The special menu is made complete with a French cheese selection or classic creme brulee. Bon apetit! 

Ima Cuisine

Ima Cuisine | $40 for a sharing style meal at dinner
