Returning to New Zealand in 2013, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company’s A Festival of Russian Ballet featuring a diverse and stunning three-act programme.
Act 1 – The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker is famous for Tchaikovsky’s music, the most recognisable and enduring music scores ever written.
Act 2 – Bolero
Bolero is a striking and dramatic ballet and is regarded as one of the world’s music masterpieces.
Act 3 – Highlights from the world’s great ballets including Giselle, Carmen,The Dying Swan and Le Corsaire and many others.
