The longest running comedy in London, the smash-hit Olivier and Tony-Award-winning, The Play That Goes Wrong, returns to Auckland. A hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, things go from bad to utterly disastrous when The Cornley Drama Society performs a classic murder mystery. Complete with an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).

Spacey Jane | Heart of the City | 1 JUN | $86

Spacey Jane is coming to New Zealand June, in support of their new album If That Makes Sense (out May 9 via AWAL). The tour announcement arrives alongside the release of ‘How to Kill Houseplants’, the second single from Spacey Jane’s forthcoming third album. The anticipated If That Makes Sense sees the band explore new facets of their sound and dive deeper into themes of falling in and out of love, overcoming trauma and learning to pick up the pieces.

Gus Fisher Gallery is delighted to share details about their upcoming exhibition in The Changing Room, which showcases new work by Daegan Wells (Aotearoa). Wells’ partner’s family farm becomes a case study for gaining insight into the people, industry and processes of the area. Wells has connected with his partner’s extended family, interviewing and gathering archives from whānau who grew up on the farm, including residents of the farmhouse from the 1930s and his partner’s great-aunt who used to live in the cottage.
