Celebrate the final day of this exhibition with a special tour with the exhibition's curator, Julia Waite.  Julia will share her reflections on how the exhibition’s journey – its development, display and visitor engagement – has reshaped her perspective on its artworks and themes, and the significance of celebrating the often-overlooked contributions of pioneering modern women artists.

Get ready to roll, groove, and vibe at Flash Jams – the ultimate free roller skate party at The Base Spaces in Wynyard Quarter!  With completely free skate rentals, and live DJs spinning the best beats, all you need to bring is some friends and your energy. This full-day, drop-in celebration in Freyberg Square and the Ellen Melville Centre is packed with activities for all ages. Experience the magic of a giant bubble show, craft your own beaded creations, and enjoy live music by a talented singer-songwriter setting a chilled, vibrant atmosphere.

Seek wisdom from Elder Queers, decorate and savour free rainbow cookies with support from The Kitchen Project - come as you are, stay as long as you like, and join the fun. 

Queer Asian Arts Market (QAAM) | Ellen Melville Centre | 22 Feb | Free

Head from the Pride Whānau Day into the Queer Asian Arts Market!  This is set to be a vibrant evening dedicated to celebrating the creativity of queer Asian artists. This special event features great vibes and an array of artworks, including illustrations, zines, ceramics, and more. QAAM fosters a safe, supportive space where marginalised voices can shine. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, starting at 4pm with a live DJ until 9pm with cozy beanbags and deckchairs for lounging. Open to all, this event is a celebration of art, culture, and community, empowering Takatāpui and Rainbow creatives.

Catch this phenomenal experience as part of Auckland Arts Festival. This monumental collision of theatre and aerial transforms the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre into a whole other world. An all-female cast exhibits spectacular strength and skill, emerging and vanishing from portals of light and shadow enveloped in a gorgeous soundscape. It’s breathtaking.
