Chris O'Connor performs as part of Artweek Auckland

Chris O'Connor will be performing 40 minute sets around Chancery Square & Freyberg Place for Late Night Art on 10 October. 

Chris O’Connor is a drummer, composer and educator. He appears on over 40 albums, and has performed with musicians as diverse as Don McGlashan, Trinity Roots, Neil Finn, Nadia Reid, Leila Adu, Jeff Henderson and The Auckland Chamber Orchestra.

Chris has recorded and performed music in many theatre and dance works, including: White Cloud Black Shadow (Tim Finn and Simon Bennet), The Irish Annals or Aotearoa (David O’Donnell), and Caberet (Michael Hurst) and last year performed with NZDC in Rotunda touring to Holland with the company.

Chris is now a member of The Phoenix Foundation, SJD and Cornerstone Roots and is a highly experienced accompanist and collaborator.
