Joining this dynamic showcase is Eddie Elliott's (Ngāti Maniapoto) Uku - Behind the Canvas, a critically acclaimed piece that debuted to rave reviews in 2022. Together, these works form a harmonious yet distinct program that delves into our connection with nature and the land that shapes us.

Malia and Rodney, renowned for their innovative visions, will transport audiences into realms of imagination, while Eddie's powerful narratives rooted in te ao Māori (the Māori world) and kapa haka (traditional Māori dance) will resonate deeply, offering a raw and authentic expression of tangata whenua (Māori people).

Accompanied by the rich soundscapes crafted by Aotearoa artists Eden Mulholland and Rowan Pierce, WHENUA promises to be an immersive experience that breathes life into the stage.
