Bees and wasp brains are about the size of a sesame seed. Despite this, these little insects are much more intelligent that you ever imagined, showing an amazing ability to learn and manipulate their world. In a lively hour, scientist Phil Lester, author of The Vulgar Wasp and Healthy Bee, Sick Bee, shows how bees and wasps can learn to recognise faces, play soccer, differentiate between individuals they should respect and those that can be abused, and demonstrate an extraordinary ability to communicate with and manipulate plants.
