For the first time ever, customers are invited to step aboard Kermadec, the world’s first state-of-the-art electric hydrofoiling ferry, for a one-of-a-kind experience.

This unique journey around Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour is no ordinary boat ride - this smooth sail is all about experiencing the cutting-edge hydrofoiling technology and Auckland’s vibrant marine environment on an eco-friendly vessel that runs entirely on electricity. As you accelerate to a speed of 15-20 knots, Kermadec lifts gracefully out of the water, gliding effortlessly on its hydrofoils. High-precision flaps on the foils automatically adjust to factors like weight, wind, and waves, ensuring a smooth and stable ride no matter the conditions. With zero emissions technology, this is the most environmentally friendly way to see Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour.

Glide effortlessly above the waves while taking in panoramic views of the city skyline, Harbour Bridge and pristine waters of the Gulf. Enjoy an intimate journey with expert commentary from your crew, highlighting cutting-edge hydrofoiling technology and Auckland’s vibrant marine environment.

Expansive windows provide unparalleled views of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and the city's iconic skyline. You and your crew can enjoy engaging commentary throughout the experience, providing insights into Auckland’s landmarks, history, and marine environment (as well as the premium beverage and snack selection). Seating only 6 people, this intimate experience provides a premium adventure on the water. The ferry returns to Viaduct Harbour Marina after 40 minutes, completing the first-in-the-world electric hydrofoiling tourism experience. The Electric Hydrofoil Experience runs from Wednesday to Sunday and you can choose from a 10:00 am, or 2:00 pm journey.

Prepare for a revolutionary experience that feels more like flying than boating!
