Commercial Bay, is all set to host a sensational fashion showcase this month to herald the arrival of Spring. This free-ticketed event will be headlined by the much-loved music duo, BROODS, who will be delivering a DJ set with live vocals.
Solstice will offer an exclusive preview of this season's hottest trends, showcasing a variety of styles from both local and international labels available within the shopping precinct.
The event promises to be one of the city's largest fashion shows to date, featuring an impressive ensemble of talent, including a dynamic mix of New Zealand's internationally renowned models and emerging stars. Commercial Bay's main ground-level laneway will transform into a spectacular 26-metre runway for a night of celebration.
The stellar lineup includes renowned brands such as Kate Sylvester, Wynn Hamlyn, Twenty Seven Names, Tommy Hilfiger, Kate Spade, RM Williams, Storm, Scotch and Soda, Elle & Riley, Just Another Fisherman, Superette, I Love Ugly, Service Denim, Maje, Sando, Aje, Barkers, Cos, and many more of Commercial Bay's fashion retailers, all styled by industry leader Tori Ambler.
Beginning on Friday 13th September, participating retailers and hospitality venues housed in Commercial Bay will be unveiling exclusive Solstice offerings for all to enjoy, with these exceptional deals available until Sunday 15th September.
Saturday 14th September sees the return of the first of two fashion shows. Transforming the main ground level laneway and open to all, the fashion show will commence at 8:00pm with models taking to the runway, giving attendees an exclusive glimpse of the upcoming trends for summer from the fabulous range of retailers found within Commercial Bay. The summer season showcase will be accompanied by none other than renowned award-winning vocalist, Aotearoa’s own Ladi6.
The second ‘Solstice’ fashion show on Sunday 15th September will also be open to all Commercial Bay patrons and kicking off at 1:30pm, again giving fashion and summer lovers alike a chance to embrace the new season together. Across both days patrons can expect to see new season looks from Wynn Hamlyn, Twenty Seven Names, Tommy Hilfiger, Superette, Moochi, Hugo Boss, Storm, Kate Spade, I Love Ugly, Rodd and Gunn, Scotch and Soda and more Commercial Bay retailers.
Commercial Bay is also excited to share that those who spend over $150 in any ‘Solstice’ participating retailer will be in the chance to win a $5,000 Commercial Bay spending spree.
