Following last year’s sold-out success, Advieh brings back their Jamaican Independence Day celebration on 6 August 2026, presented in partnership with Appleton Estate.

Together with acclaimed partner chef Gareth Stewart and award-winning mixologist Adam Neal, Director of Parasol & Company, Appleton Estate brings to life an exclusive dining and mixology experience in honour of Jamaican Independence Day.

For one night only, experience a bold and soulful five course menu inspired by Gareth’s Jamaican heritage, paired with vibrant Appleton Estate rum cocktails. Expect fire, flavour and flair in a celebration of culture, storytelling and world class hospitality.

The evening will be hosted by MC Rubi Du. Born and raised in Auckland and shaped by the Sound System culture and Rastafarian influences of her childhood, her presence brings an authentic cultural thread to the event, honouring the music, rhythm and storytelling at the heart of Jamaican celebration.

You will also be treated to a special performance by internationally renowned R&B and reggae singer songwriter Irie Love. Born in Kailua, O’ahu, Irie is of Hawaiian Jamaican, Native American, British and Dutch heritage, a rich cultural background that informs her powerful vocals and uplifting island infused sound. Her mission is to empower, inspire and entertain the world through her love of music. On the night, she will perform a selection of original songs and Jamaican classics, adding a soulful and celebratory energy to the event.
