Tanya has been crafting willow baskets since her first course with Golden Bay basketmaker Peter Greer in 2008. As a largely self-taught artisan, she passionately bends bundles of cultivated, sustainable willow sticks into baskets, respecting tradition while adding a contemporary feel. Tanya loves experimenting with natural fibers, bringing a modern touch to the age-old craft of basket making.
