Morning People is turning six, hooray. And to celebrate, the people who get you moving of a morning are taking over the Auckland Town Hall with a bunch of crack-of-dawn party-starters – soon to be announced, but they’re guaranteed to blow your bed socks off.
Fresh from jet-setting around the country and playing some of the biggest festivals on offer, these artists are sure to get the party started with DJ talents and live electronic experience.
Fans of the Morning People experience can expect big breakfast-sized helpings of house, techno and dance-floor goodness and because it’s a birthday party, they’re switching things up from their usual mid-week malarkey to have you all partying on a Saturday – yes, you heard right, SATURDAY!! - from 7am to 9am.
In true Morning People fashion, the finest electronic music will be served alongside complimentary Altezano Brothers coffee, All Good bananas, and the Amazonian plant-power of Club Mate.
Don't miss Morning People's sixth birthday at one of Auckland's best loved and most iconic venues, and don’t forget to dress fancy. Think zebra prints, ball gowns, smoking jackets, dressing gowns, frocks or just plain pyjamas - whatever you think says, “Happy Birthday Morning People, let's party!”
Oh yeah, and it’s alcohol free because who needs booze to have a good time, ‘specially when you can have bananas and coffee instead!?
