Night Market Mexico - Mexican Cooking Class
Mexican street food is prepared by street vendors and at small traditional markets in Mexico. Street foods include tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, fajitas and nachos.
In this class, you will make two delicious seafood Mexican street food recipes: Tequila fish tacos with pickled cabbage slaw, followed by Blackened salmon burrito bowl, corn and bean salsa with avocado and horseradish cream.
Your Chef - Colin Doyle
Cooking has always been a passion for self-taught Australian cook Colin Doyle. When he arrived in New Zealand from the United States, having just completed a PhD in X-ray Spectroscopy, he decided that he should pursue culinary as well as academic endeavours, and a teaching role at Auckland Seafood School has allowed him to progress from kitchen assistant to teaching chef.
Complimentary beverage on arrival. Bar open from 5.30pm onwards.
