About the Mission:
Every day at the Mission, the team responds to poverty and great need in our city. People come when they need a safe place to call home, enough nutritious food to eat, and when their health is compromised.
About the HomeGround building:
Nicholas Stevens and Gary Lawson of Stevens Lawson Architects (SLA) were awarded the 2022 Gold Medal by Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects, considered New Zealand's highest honour for architects. HomeGround is a work of international significance, winning the World Architecture Festival commendation and standing as a model of care-informed architecture. It’s also a model of technical innovation: the tallest structural timber building in Aotearoa, and the product of meticulously considered sustainability principles.
All proceeds go towards the Mission’s life-changing services. Book your place now!
