What does bravery look like? Who inspires you? And what are you proud of?
This school holiday, NZ Maritime Museum is hosting a creative programme where young children (perfect for ages 5 to 10) explore stories of courage, innovation and pride from New Zealand's rich maritime history. They will then have the opportunity to design their very own medal to celebrate what makes them heroic.
Using colourful and recycled materials, they will craft unique medals and then set off on a fun, pick-a-path trail through the galleries where they’ll uncover real stories of maritime bravery, boldness, and big ideas.
