Holding Space invites you to a community arts showcase: sharing songs, poetry, art, ideas and fashion developed over the span of the Auckland Climate Festival. Featuring performances from The Songwriters4ClimateAction Project and submissions from other local creatives.

Art is a powerful way to connect, inspire, communicate and shape our culture for the better; especially around this shared kaupapa we all have right now in the hopes of tackling this climate crisis. Along with performances, there will be a space for climate conscious organisations to share information, network over drinks and nibbles plus a vibrant Fashion Show thrown in the mix — this will truly be an unforgettable and colourful creative night!

This event is in collaboration with Fashion Rebellion Aotearoa. We will be making space for The Fashion Rebellion Show half way through the night; with works by The Upcycle Collective, Janine Clarkin and more to come. Expect an activist up-cycled fashion show, protesting the environmental and humanitarian issues of the fashion industry whilst celebrating community spirit, upcycled and natural materials, ingenuity and our relationship to Papatūānuku.
