Back by popular demand! This guided walking tour was a sell-out at the Auckland Heritage Festival.

Don your comfiest walking shoes and delve into the history and archaeology of the Auckland waterfront. The water’s edge today is far from where it was in 1840 and many buildings, structures and institutions have come and gone from this ever-changing part of the city.

The 75-minute walk will begin outside the newly refurbished Britomart Transport Centre on Queen Street and then meander around the neighbouring streets and wharves.

Enjoy two hours of free parking or $5 evening and weekend rates. Find out more. Ride on public transport from as little as $2 each way. Find out more.
