Have you ever seen a play entirely in German? Come along and see “Lottes Lästige Leichen"...which translates to "Lotte’s Annoying Corpses".

This play features a family reunion of a special kind: Aunt Charlotte's coffee party is severely disrupted by her Italian nephew and his mafia entourage. What is the most reliable way to get rid of the whole gang? Take three guesses!

Fräulein Lotte is lucky enough to have a butler and three charming maids, who tackle the "disposal" of her noisy, rude relatives in quick succession without batting an eyelid. Soon a detective bursts in, complicating everything!

The show is fun for the whole family, and has English surtitles, so you don't even have to know any German. Practice your language skills or brag about how cultured you are - who needs Duolingo? Featuring German snacks at halftime!

We are comprised of a group of students at The University of Auckland, and have put on a play in German every year since 1977! For more information, look us up on social media (uoagermandramacompany on Instagram, and German Drama Company on Facebook).
